The production of Dirty Turk, aka Dirty Immigrant, ties a thoughtful and personal exploration of identity and culture through an immersive on-stage experience.
Written and directed by Harper Instructor Ilknur Ozgur, the play draws from real immigrant experiences, including some of Ozgur’s own family history. The work itself makes history as the first production that showcases a story about immigrants and a culturally diverse cast.
Through layered visuals, movement, and immersive design, the performance examines what it truly means to carry culture, memory, and displacement at once.
As opening night approached on March 5th, Dirty Turk promises not just a show, but an experience. One that invited the audience to listen closely, reflect, and witness stories that feel intimate and extremely relevant.
Tickets available at the Harper Box Office.
